At Holy Cross Catholic Primary School, our intention is to deliver a broad, balanced, and inspiring curriculum that is ambitious, challenging, and meaningful for every child. Rooted in our mission, we nurture independent, confident, lifelong learners who flourish through kindness, strive for excellence, and act with courage and compassion.
At Holy Cross, we promote attitudes and values that empower children to become successful, reflective learners and responsible citizens. Through our engaging curriculum, pupils develop resilience, curiosity, cooperation, and creativity, guided by Gospel values and our school values of kindness, confidence, and excellence.
Our pupils live out our Catholic mission by learning, playing, and growing together within an inclusive and respectful school community. Staff and pupils actively engage in charitable projects on local, national, and international levels, building a strong moral compass and a deep sense of social justice.
Our curriculum is designed to open children’s eyes to the wider world beyond their immediate experience, nurturing their spiritual, moral, personal, and social development. We want every child to leave Holy Cross as a responsible citizen, caring not only for their local community but for their global neighbours too, ready for the next stage of their education and for life in the world God calls them to serve.
Each year, we review and refine our curriculum at Holy Cross to ensure it continues to meet the needs of our pupils. If you would like to know more about our curriculum or have any questions, please do not hesitate to speak with Mrs Banks.
